The Story Behind She Carries It

I’m Sarah Urban, the founder of She Carries It.

For over 20 years, I thrived as an executive in the manufacturing industry, ultimately leading key
functions at the highest level of the organization. On the outside, it looked like I had it all. But behind the scenes, I was also raising three children—and even with a supportive husband, the weight of invisible chores, mental checklists, and constant multitasking seemed to always land on my shoulders.

No matter how many times I asked for help, the burden didn’t lighten. The dream I had worked so hard for began to dim under the relentless pressure.

I also realized I was spending so much time working that I had little left for the things that brought me joy. That’s when my husband and I decided to buy a lake house – a place where I could step away from the constant grind. Now, I work from the lake as often as possible, blending productivity with peace. It’s where I hike, read, and connect with my family – and it’s become a reminder that life is meant to be lived fully, not just worked through.

In countless conversations with other women, I kept hearing the same refrain: “We can’t have it all.”

I refused to accept that.

That’s why I started She Carries It—to shatter the myth. Because the truth is: You can have it all… you just can’t do it all. Now, I’m on a mission to help women release the weight they’ve been carrying alone.

Through online training and expert services, and tools designed to support real life, I’ll show you how to create balance, reclaim your energy, and focus on what matters most—without burning out.

You’ve carried it long enough. | It’s time to set it down.
